Milena and her Parents

Milena Mirkovic, our 2 1/2 year old daughter, is currently in the intensive care unit of the German Heart Centre, Berlin. During open heart surgery that lasted for 6 hours an artificial device connected to a computer which helps the heart to function was implanted in Milena's heart. Milena is now waiting in Berlin for a heart transplant. The further costs of the treatment, operation and care so far is Euro 80,000. We have set about collecting money from various sources. The largest donation to date has come from the Swedish firm "Oriflame", which has a regional office in Belgrade. Other contributions have come from generous individuals.

We, the parents of Milena, are appealing to any individuals or organizations that might be able to contribute to the costs incurred for the treatment which has kept our young child Milena alive.
